With a background in architecture, I've always been fascinated by the relationship between buildings, people and place.

Drawing and painting have given me another way of exploring that relationship, allowing me to look closely at the character, atmosphere and everyday details that make places memorable.

Italy has become a particular source of inspiration — its villages, interiors, architecture, colour and the beautiful traces of everyday life.
