Australian Images

Australia has a character that is distinctly its own. It is identifiable in landscape, built environment, colour and light. When I draw and paint Australian images I endeavour to reflect that distinctive character. In particular, I love the sky and how it effects colour, shadow and light.

Australian City Heritage

Terrace houses in the inner city. Some are very simple single storey buildings and others are very grand structures.

Australian Colonial Heritage

Country properties are like small villages. The main homestead with a collection of outbuildings included kitchen, stables, workers quarters, shearing sheds and hay sheds.

Australian Landscape

The rural landscape is a fabulous mixture of colours. The countryside is dotted with small towns and farm buildings.
