Australian Images

Australia has a character distinctly its own, expressed in its landscapes, built environment, colour and light.

When I draw and paint Australian subjects, I try to capture something of that distinctive character. I am particularly drawn to the Australian sky and the way it affects colour, shadow and light — qualities that give the landscape and built environment their unique atmosphere.
