Italy has always felt like a second home to my creative spirit. I'm inspired by the quiet visual poetry of its villages - the sun-washed walls, narrow winding lanes, and the unhurried rhythm of everyday life. There’s a timeless quality woven into the fabric of these places, where history and modern life blend seamlessly.
For me, the charm lies in the ordinary: laundry strung between shuttered windows, a child sitting on steps, an old bicycle resting against a warm stucco wall, a doorway bathed in late-afternoon light. I’m especially drawn to the rich, earthy colors and the beautifully weathered textures that tell stories without words.
In painting these scenes, I try to capture not just what I see, but what I feel—a sense of warmth, memory, and stillness. Italy’s villages offer a world where beauty lives in the details, and every corner holds a moment worth keeping.
